The Annandale Cardinals fell to the Watertown-Mayer Royals 54-51 in the teams' previous meeting last month; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Annandale beat Watertown-Mayer 65-58 on Friday.
The victory bumped the Cardinals' record up to 19-7. The loss dropped Watertown-Mayer's record to 12-11.
The Cardinals will stay at home against Rockford on Monday. Watertown-Mayer is on the road again on Monday and plays against Mound-Westonka. Watertown-Mayer fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game as the odds are decidedly against them.
