The Boiling Springs Bubblers will challenge the Shippensburg Greyhounds at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Boiling Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4  runs per game  this season.
Boiling Springs proved they can win big  last Thursday (they won by seven) and  on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  8-6  win over James Buchanan.

  Landon McMahon and  Josh Snyder did most of the damage at the plate:  McMahon  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4, while  Snyder  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  McMahon a new career-high in  doubles (two). Another player making a difference was  Chance Flor, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Shippensburg had taken Waynesboro down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end  on Wednesday. The Greyhounds fell  7-3 to the Indians. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Boiling Springs has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Shippensburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1.
 Boiling Springs came up short against Shippensburg in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024, falling  5-0. Can the Bubblers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
