Arrupe Jesuit hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Gisela Benevides that streak is no more. The Arrupe Jesuit Generals managed a 39-34 win over the Stargate School Eagles on Thursday which was due in part to Benevides, who went 7-for-11 en route to 15 points and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Despite the loss, Stargate School still got an impressive performance from Sloan Kunz, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most points Kunz has posted since back in December of 2024.
Arrupe Jesuit's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Stargate School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
As of now, neither Arrupe Jesuit nor Stargate School have any future games scheduled.
