When it comes to explaining why Robertsdale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gabe Stevens. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds. That was a full 38.7% of Robertsdale's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Robertsdale struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Robertsdale has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Baldwin County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
Robertsdale's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hillcrest at 2:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Baldwin County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Orange Beach at 4:30 p.m. Orange Beach will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Baldwin County is ranked 83rd).
