On Thursday, Legacy Charter came up short against Colonial and fell 61-48.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Smith, who scored eight points along with four steals. Smith continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Richmond, who scored 12 points.
Legacy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Colonial, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Legacy Charter and NSU University will face off at 11:30 a.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. NSU University knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matches -- so hopefully Legacy Charter likes a good challenge. Colonial's road trip will continue as they head out to face Master's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
