Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Sault Area). They blew past the St. Ignace Saints 21-7 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  19-0  on Monday.
The  win made it two in a row for Sault Area and  bumps their season record up to 3-10. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7  runs in those games. As for St. Ignace, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sault Area will square off against Cheboygan at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The  game will  give the Blue Devils their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for St. Ignace, they will face off against Cedarville at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
