Cape Henlopen found their leader in underclassman Amalia Fruchtman, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Fruchtman has scored at least 25% of Cape Henlopen's points. Ally Diehl was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Caesar Rodney's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cape Henlopen, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caesar Rodney will take on Sussex Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Sussex Tech is ranked 23rd, while Caesar Rodney is ranked 33rd). As for Cape Henlopen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Smyrna at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Smyrna will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
