St. John's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quade smith led the charge by scoring 16 points. The game was smith's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aden Adame, who scored 13 points.
St. John's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Larned, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
St. John will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Kiowa County at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th. Larned and Great Bend will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Great Bend presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Larned in Kansas (Great Bend is ranked 49th, while Larned is ranked 191st).
