After a string of four wins, the Fulshear Chargers's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 71-63 to Foster. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), Fulshear still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Foster to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jalen Stephanson, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaron Martin, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Fulshear's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-13. As for Foster, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-18.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fulshear will take on Lamar Consolidated at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fulshear knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Lamar Consolidated likes a good challenge. As for Foster, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Randle at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Foster focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
