Pikes Peak Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully the Indians likes a good challenge.
Even though Pikes Peak Christian has not done well against the Danes recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Pikes Peak Christian walked away with a 55-44 win over the Danes.
It was another big night for Eddie Harmon, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Isaiah Wehner was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kiowa's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 47-27 walloping at the hands of Genoa-Hugo/Karval. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kiowa in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now lost six in a row.
Pikes Peak Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Kiowa, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Pikes Peak Christian took their victory against the Indians in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 63-41. With Pikes Peak Christian ahead 33-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
