Jefferson's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-19. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for MacArthur, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-10.
Jefferson will be playing at home against Brackenridge at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Brackenridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jefferson in Texas (Brackenridge is ranked 660th, while Jefferson is ranked 1334th). As for MacArthur, they will head out on the road to face off against Lanier at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
