The Bonham Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 50-36 to Gunter. Bonham has not had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Bonham lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jagger Lindsey, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Ross, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Bonham has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-15 record this season. As for Gunter, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-9.
Bonham will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Ridge is on a three-game streak of home losses, the Warriors a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Gunter will take on the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
