The match was Burns' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Tristen Keys was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Jim Hill bumped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Hattiesburg, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jim Hill will face off against Forest Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hattiesburg won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hancock at 2:30 p.m. on January 6th. One thing working in Hancock's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
