There's no place like home for Saks, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past the Wellborn Panthers 50-12 on Saturday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Saks' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alonna Crews, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 13 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Crews is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Meorri English, who posted 12 points and seven boards.

Saks smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Saks has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Wellborn, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Saks has already played their next matchup, a 48-47 victory against Randolph County on the 4th. Wellborn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
