After a string of seven wins, Madison's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the Clinton Redwolves. The Trojans were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but the Redwolves' pitcher proved too tough.
Cole Grof was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.
