The Selinsgrove Seals will face off against the Minersville Battlin' Miners at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Selinsgrove has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Selinsgrove saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Cherry, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Cherry also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
Meanwhile, Minersville got themselves on the board against Nativity BVM on Thursday, but Nativity BVM never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Green Wave. The Battlin' Miners haven't had any issues with the Green Wave recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Eila O'Brien made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That one hit allowed gave her a new career-low. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Sara McGrath was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Isabella Rizzardi, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
Minersville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Selinsgrove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Minersville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Minersville's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Selinsgrove has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Minersville, though, as they've been averaging 10.5 hits. Given Selinsgrove's sizable advantage in that area, Minersville will need to find a way to close that gap.
