While Vaughn Gritzmacher delivered a dominant effort on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Tooele. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 62 yards.

Coleman Dearden posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 87 yards and a touchdown.
If history really does repeat itself, Dearden might just drop another big game when he faces off against Tooele on Friday. When Dearden last faced the Buffaloes back in October of 2023, he threw for 288 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards.
