Walkertown hasn't had much luck against Reidsville recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Walkertown Wolfpack will head out to challenge the Reidsville Rams at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Walkertown comes in on seven and Reidsville on 53.
Last Tuesday, Walkertown didn't have too much trouble with West Stokes as they won 60-44.

Walkertown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenan Grady out in front who went 6-for-15 on his way to 14 points and three steals. What's more, Grady posted four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ricco Daniels, who earned ten points along with six assists and five boards.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Reidsville on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Morehead out of the water with a 70-28 final score. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Walkertown better keep an eye on Dionte Neal. He was instrumental in Reidsville's win, almost dropping a double-double with 26 points and nine assists. Neal has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 53 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kendre Harrison, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.
Reidsville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 53 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Reidsville's victory was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.3 points. As for Walkertown, their record now sits at 15-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Walkertown has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Reidsville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 45 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Walkertown took a serious blow against Reidsville in their previous meeting back in January, falling 81-53. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Walkertown was down 48-23.
