The Eau Claire Shamrocks won the last time they faced the Ben Lippen Falcons, and things went their way on Saturday too. Eau Claire took down Ben Lippen 51-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eau Claire.
Leading Eau Claire to victory were Destinee Tiller and Milaysha Chisholm. Tiller scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Chisholm dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Tiller has scored at least 25% of Eau Claire's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Holliday, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Eau Claire's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Ben Lippen, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Eau Claire and Keenan will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Ben Lippen, they will head out on the road to face off against Hammond at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hammond will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
