The School of the Ozarks Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 31-23 to Kansas City Christian School. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points School of the Ozarks has scored all season.
Defeat or not, School of the Ozarks got some senior leadership from Lily Todd who scored eight points and Holland Houston who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
School of the Ozarks' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Kansas City Christian School, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. School of the Ozarks will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Verona at 6:00 p.m. on January 19, 2024. Kansas City Christian School will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Veritas Christian on January 4, 2024.
