This season hasn't been kind to the New Richmond Lions, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They suffered a  tough 41-17 loss at the hands of Mariemont  on Monday. New Richmond has not had much luck with Mariemont recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
 Despite the loss, New Richmond still got an impressive performance from   Sydney Miller, who  scored 9 points along with 9  rebounds.
 New Richmond bumped their record down to 0-4 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.3 points per game. As for Mariemont,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Richmond will take on Clinton-Massie at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Clinton-Massie is coming into the  game on a four-game losing streak. As for Mariemont, they have the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Wyoming at 7:30  p.m.  on December 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Ohio (Wyoming is ranked 275th, while Mariemont is ranked 259th).
