Dexter put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Northville Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Dreadnaughts have posted  since August 20th.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dexter got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25,  25-14.
 Larkin Pham paced Dexter's offense, picking up 13 kills. Pham got some help from  Chloe Burns and her 33 assists.  Selena Hochendoner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 When it comes to explaining why Northville lost, don't look at  Giselle Burlingame. Despite the final result, she  had 14  digs and one assist. Burlingame is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's  played dating back to last season.
Dexter's win bumped their record up to 10-0.
 Dexter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  2-0  victory against Howell on the 3rd. As for Northville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  win against Adrian on the 3rd.
