Tabernacle Christian was led to victory by Annie Sichting and Liz Southerland. Sichting dropped a triple-double on 24 points, 13 assists, and ten steals, while Southerland scored 37 points along with six rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Southerland has scored all season. Hallie Brummett was another key contributor, scoring two points along with 11 rebounds and four steals.
Washington Catholic bumped their record down to 0-18 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Tabernacle Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Catholic will take on Lighthouse Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tabernacle Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Crosspointe Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on January 23rd. Crosspointe Christian Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
