Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Bremen Lions walked away with it. They had just enough and edged Wheeler out 21-18. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bremen.
Bremen can attribute much of their success to Tyrus Graverson, who picked up 147 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Although Wheeler took the loss, they still got scores from Bryce Compton and Xavier Haralovich.
Bremen's win bumped their record up to 6-6. As for Wheeler, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.
Bremen will head out on the road to face off against LaVille at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. LaVille is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. Wheeler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
