Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Parker's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Parker won the last time they faced Huffman and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thundering Herd were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Vikings. The Thundering Herd might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Parker got a massive performance out of Leah Ray, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Marley Allen, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Parker is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Huffman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parker will square off against Wenonah at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Thundering Herd are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Huffman, they will take on Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
