They strolled past Johnson County with points to spare, taking the game 56-41. Given Arizona College Prep's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 80th in Arizona, while Johnson County is ranked 295th in Tennessee), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Alex Neill was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Justice Moore was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Arizona College Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Johnson County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Arizona College Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Desert View at 1:00 p.m. on December 8th. Johnson County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Ridge at 8:00 p.m. on December 19th.
