Cal Conroy posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
