Okolona lost to Eupora 34-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Bruce and East Webster played the closest game in 2A Region 4 this week, with Bruce eventually emerging with a 7-3 victory. Donta Armstrong threw for 41 yards and ran for 126 yards in the win.
The Wolverines' dynamic duo of Jack Wilson and Deangelo Liggins proved tough for the Trojans to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wilson threw for 66 yards and Liggins had 46 yards receiving. Mckinley Hollenhead helped East Webster's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 15 yards.
Armstrong provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Bruce beat East Webster. Armstrong's favorite target this week was Jay Johnson, who caught 3 passes for 23 yards.
Calhoun City's Chakel Gates and Brieton Sykes led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Gates has thrown for 924 yards this season, while Sykes has 19 catches for 353 yards. Doug Wilson's team's Liggins leads the league in rushing yards with 681.
As it stands, the Wildcats are in fourth, while the Eagles are in first.
Eupora led the league in scoring this week by notching 34 points on the Chieftains.
