The North Moore Mustangs will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Southeast Alamance Stallions at 7:30 p.m. North Moore is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
North Moore struggled with assists on Wednesday (Cummings had eight more) and sadly the final score reflected it. The match between the pair wasn't particularly close, with North Moore falling 65-50. They have struggled against Cummings recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
North Moore's defeat came about despite a quality game from Colby Pennington, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Michael Copeland was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Southeast Alamance's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They took down Seaforth 70-52. The victory was just what Southeast Alamance needed coming off of a 74-36 loss in their prior contest.
North Moore has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Southeast Alamance, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.
