The Syracuse Titans can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Weber 71-33 at home. The win was nothing new for Syracuse as they're now sitting on five straight.
Avery Sanders was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with nine assists and four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Maylee Anderson, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylee Jugler, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals. Jugler is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played. Katelyn Arbon was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Syracuse's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Weber, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Syracuse will head out on the road to take on Davis at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Davis will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Weber, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fremont at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
