Southeast Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sioux Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Jaguars fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 10-8 on Wednesday. On the bright side, the eight- run performance marked the Jaguars' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Southeast Valley dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sioux Central, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Southeast Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-7 defeat against Humboldt on the 5th. As for Sioux Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-5 win against Cherokee Washington on the 5th.
