Baseball Recap: Ridgeview Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Ridgeview won against Fisher on Friday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Mustangs beat the Cissna Park Timberwolves by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-2. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Cole Kennedy was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Mason, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Ridgeview's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Cissna Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will head out to challenge Heyworth at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cissna Park, they will square off against Iroquois West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Timberwolves are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
