Having struggled with three losses in a row, Seneca turned things around against Camden County Vo-Tech on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Warriors. The Golden Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Collin Heaney tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Luke Gsell was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brett Steinhour, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Seneca was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Bishop Eustace Prep and Moorestown, and Bishop Eustace Prep kept the tradition alive. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Quakers with a sharp 17-7 win on Monday. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Quakers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Chris Romeo and Max Sullivan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Romeo struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Sullivan pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Romeo went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, while Sullivan went 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That home run marked the first that Romeo has launched this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Rosenberg, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Bishop Eustace Prep is 4-0-1 when Rosenberg posts one or more home runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Roman Faiola, who went 4-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
Bishop Eustace Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Seneca, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
