Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Terry Chavez stepped things up a notch to give Azusa the 'W'. Chavez scored three runs while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Chavez's strong effort led Azusa over Duarte and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long.
