Frankton and Wapahani are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Eagles will face off against the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Frankton sitting on three straight wins and Wapahani on seven.
Frankton came out on top against Eastbrook on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run fifth inning. The Eagles beat the Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 16-6. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Frankton got a massive performance out of Brady Carmack, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Carmack a new career-high. Caine Oakley was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.
Frankton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Wapahani beat Hagerstown 7-2 on Tuesday.
Wapahani also got a great performance from Kyle Anderson as he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits.
On the hitting side, Eli Andrews was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Nate Luce, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
Wapahani's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Frankton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Frankton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .364. However, it's not like Wapahani struggles in that department as they've averaged .367. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Frankton was able to grind out a solid victory over Wapahani in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 6-3. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
