The Millikan Rams will head out to face off against the Fullerton Indians at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Fullerton will be up against a hot Millikan squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. The Rams' pitchers stepped up to hand Cabrillo a 22-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Riley McAndrew and Jade Torres were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, McAndrew pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Torres tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. McAndrew has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, McAndrew went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs, while Torres went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most RBI McAndrew has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Peyton Dobrovolny was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Kayla Cisneros was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
Millikan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Fullerton made easy work of Segerstrom on Tuesday and carried off a 9-1 win. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Kaylee Mathews and Andrea Montes De Oca did most of the damage at the plate: Mathews went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI, while Montes De Oca went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Ariel Enriquez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs.
Millikan's record now sits at 26-8. As for Fullerton, their record is now 24-2.
Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Millikan has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. However, it's not like Fullerton struggles in that department as they've averaged .435. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Millikan skirted past Fullerton 3-1 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
