Quincy Notre Dame lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Marquette Catholic, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's match. The Raiders put the hurt on the Explorers with a sharp 17-2 victory on Saturday. Considering the Raiders have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Quincy Notre Dame, bringing their record up to 19-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Marquette Catholic, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Quincy Notre Dame will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Explorers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
