Falmouth is 7-2 against Gorham since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Navigators will host the Rams at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Gorham will be up against a hot Falmouth team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Navigators never let Biddeford get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. With that victory, the Navigators brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Jacoby Porter made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Pechinski, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Caden Berry was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Falmouth kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Gorham and Marshwood, and Gorham kept the tradition alive. The Rams blew past the Hawks 8-1 on Tuesday. Considering the Rams have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Like Falmouth, Gorham also got a great game from a two-way player: Hunter Finck. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Finck was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Falmouth's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Gorham, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Falmouth hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .353. However, it's not like Gorham struggles in that department as they've averaged .331. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Falmouth came up short against Gorham in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, falling 3-0. Will the Navigators have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
