On Saturday Salem Academy take on Bandon at 3:00 PM. Salem Academy is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Last Friday, Salem Academy couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. Salem Academy didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 35-41 to Pleasant Hill.
Meanwhile, Bandon had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They fell to Glide 0-13.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
