After four games on the road, Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy is heading back home. They and Training Center Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Training Center Christian will be coming in after a loss.
On Tuesday, Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy earned a 54-42 win over Frontier STEM. The win was just what Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy needed coming off of a 80-28 defeat in their prior game.
Riley Ellis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Hobbs, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Training Center Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 60-54 to Ozanam. Training Center Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10. As for Training Center Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy strolled past Training Center Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 79-63. Will Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy repeat their success, or does Training Center Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
