After two weeks on the road, High Point is heading back home. On Friday they take on Fairmont Heights at 7:00 PM. The teams both are strolling into their matchup after big wins in their previous games.
Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to High Point, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They blew past Surrattsville 24-0.the rankings were on High Point's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result
Meanwhile, Fairmont Heights got themselves on the board against Central last Friday, but Central never followed suit. Fairmont Heights took the contest and then some with a 48-0 win over Central. The win was familiar territory for Fairmont Heights, who now have six in a row.
Their wins bumped High Point to 2-4 and Fairmont Heights to 6-0. With both High Point and Fairmont Heights swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
