The Gladewater Bears won the last time they faced the Atlanta Rabbits, and things went their way on Friday too. Gladewater came out on top against Atlanta by a score of 28-20.
Gladewater was led to victory by Kyron Wilson and Carsin Cooper. Wilson rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while Cooper rushed for 202 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.8 yards per carry.
The team's defense also helped out by holding Atlanta to a paltry 196 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Gladewater's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out three times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Tristan Collins and his two sacks.
Gladewater is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-7 record this season. As for Atlanta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Gladewater does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Atlanta also has no future games currently scheduled.
