After soaring to 58 points the game before, the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 68-19 loss at the hands of Crossroads Christian. Cresset Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-7.
Despite the loss, Cresset Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Branson Green, who scored ten points.
Crossroads Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brodrick Jenkins, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Ben Gladieux, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Cresset Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Crossroads Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.
Cresset Christian Academy will take on Carolina Friends at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Carolina Friends will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Crossroads Christian, they will face off against Ravenscroft at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
