Softball Recap: Harlem's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

Harlem has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.08 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Hononegah Indians. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Harlem saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adriah Sholl, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double.

Harlem's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Hononegah, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Harlem is set to square off against their familiar foe Belvidere at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hononegah will take on rival Belvidere North at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
