The Union Academy Cardinals have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They took their game at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 64-18 victory over Gray Stone Day. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Union Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Union Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Abram Suttle out in front who scored 23 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Suttle has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Trevin Goodson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Union Academy's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15. As for Gray Stone Day, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with that defeat, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season.
