The San Juan Broncos were the 88-80 winner over the Grand County Red Devils when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. San Juan took a 73-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grand County. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Saturday (66), San Juan still had to take the loss.
Despite the defeat, San Juan had strong showings from Anthony Done, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Tripp Palmer, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Done has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Rj Dalley was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
San Juan has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Grand County, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing North Sevier the next time they take the court. San Juan will host North Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Grand County will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
