It was a good run, but Timber Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Fayette County Tigers, falling 70-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolves have suffered since February 19, 2024.

Despite the loss, Timber Creek still got an impressive performance from Serene Exalant, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Exalant has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Perez, who posted nine points.

Journy Scott had a dynamite game for Fayette County, going 11 of 26 on her way to 27 points and six rebounds. Anaya Ferguson was another key player, going 7 of 9 on her way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Timber Creek's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Fayette County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Timber Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-46 victory against Booker on the 30th. As for Fayette County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-24 win against Seacrest Country Day on the 30th.
