Jamison Pelt Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Swan Valley got the W thanks in part to Jamison Pelt playing the best football he has all season. Pelt picked up 403 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 receiving touchdowns per game. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 85 yards.
The win was the sixth in a row for Swan Valley, bringing their record for this year to 6-3. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Belding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Glenn now has a winning record of 5-4. Hilborn and Glenn are taking a road trip to face off against Petoskey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Owen Case Has Career Rushing Day
Freeland was led to victory by Owen Case, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Case rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles and defending a pass.
Freeland's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Case and Freeland will square off against Lake Fenton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
