Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westerly). They claimed a resounding 72-23 win over the Classical Purple. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Leading Westerly to victory were Kate Rafferty and Ella Reyes. Rafferty almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals, while Reyes went 5 for 10 on her way to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Rafferty is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nova Woodward, who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points.

Westerly was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Westerly pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points per game. As for Classical, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Westerly is taking a road trip to challenge East Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westerly is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season. Classical is facing South Kingstown at the right time seeing as South Kingstown is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
