After soaring high against Bluestone last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Fluvanna County took a 14-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spotsylvania. If Fluvanna County were hoping to take revenge for the 21-34 loss against Spotsylvania the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. The game pushed Fluvanna County down to 1-0 and pulled Spotsylvania up to the reverse 0-1.
Fluvanna County have some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next contest, which is against Madison County at 7:00 PM in two weeks. Spotsylvania hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next contest against Orange County at 7:00 PM in two weeks.
